Wallace & Tiernan Products began with the invention of the world's first chlorinator in 1913. W&T pioneered field-disinfection for the U.S. Army and the Red Cross during World War I. International operations began in England in the early 1920s, rapidly expanding to Germany and the rest of Europe.
